To Do

This is my running To Do list. It's here mainly to help me prioritize the builds.

• Purchase all hardware and put it all together.
• Test everything out.
• Build new Plex Media Server and migrate all data to new server.
• Migrate data to future drive
• Build gaming machine to test video card pass through.
• Build media box for TV Tuner testing with Hauppauge WinTV Extend.
• Configure Plex Media Server for recorded TV (cancelled as it didn't support the recorded format)
• Research / Buy / Install / Configure RAID card
• Raid card and SATA converter cables have been purchased and received. Ran into issue with using RAID card with hardware pass through. Will need to use this somewhere else or disable hardware pass through. Cancelling this task for now.
• Revise storage plan to incorporate some type of RAID (either with this hardware card or through software RAID).
• Build / Configure new phone server
• Finalize backup trunks and routes
• Finalize main IVR and voice mail settings
• Build and configure new web front end server
• Build and configure new virtual firewall vm -- tested pfsenese, but it won't work with current setup
• Build and configure LDAP / DNS server
• Build and configure monitoring vm
• Zenoss
• Splunk
• Build and configure mail server
• Build and configure FreeNAS vm
• Configure CIFS shares for home shares
• Configure NFS shares for home directories
• Configure iSCSI targets
• Configure snapshots
• Build and configure Satellite server to support patch management of Linux servers.
• Finalize off site backup location.
